Walls That Unite…
Grandin Village Art Walk
In 2022, our co-op partnered with the Grandin Village Business Association and the Roanoke Arts Commission to install a series of 9 murals under the Art in Place program that represent values connected to community unity, in the spirit of bringing Roanoke businesses, communities, and artists together.
Each mural features the work of a different community artist, and depict subjects inspired by their creators’ own imaginations.
Check out other expansions of the Art in Place program through the Roanoke Arts Commission website.

Family
Addison Cammer
“I wanted to represent family as in all people, as we are all connected as human beings on this earth and should care about each other as such.”
Inspiration
Maggie Perrin-Key
“This piece is about how the mountains surrounding Roanoke have a deep, ancient, grounding energy, and that energy flows up to the sky and into the ether.”
