Community Events from the Grandin Community…
Being a part of Roanoke’s historic Grandin Village means that our co-op community is never short on fun events and activities to jump in on. Whether in-store, or out in our beautiful Grandin Village community, all co-op customers and welcome and invited to join in on events and promotions all year round!
From tastings to live music, block parties, and holiday celebrations, the co-op is engaging with all levels of the Roanoke and Grandin communities every day. Follow our events calendar to make sure you never miss out on new opportunities!
Community Events and Programs
Grandin Chillage
The Grandin Chillage, hosted by the Grandin Village Business Association, is a public event open to the whole community, designed to nurture connections and support businesses through live music, locally-brewed drinks, and good food.
The Chillage occurs on the last Friday of each month, and runs March-September every year.
Arts Programs
Concern for Community is one of our Eight Cooperative Principles, and it is our mission to not only nurture our own community of shoppers and owners, but to also uplift small businesses and artists across Roanoke and the New River Valley.

Co+op Explorers
There’s no replacement for good, fresh food, and we at the co-op believe that everyone should have exposure to nutrition and goodness, and that means shoppers of all ages, including kids!
We started Co+op Explorers to give young shoppers access to yummy produce, while making shopping a little more fun! During store hours, kids big and small are welcome to stop by and take a free fruit from our Co+op Explorers basket, located by our produce section.
